Jane Anger

Jane Anger has spent most of her book trade career on the retail side.  After starting at Kimptons Medical Bookshop in 1980, she moved to the British Council before becoming a founder member of Silver Moon Bookshop.  She was active in both WiP and the Feminist Bookfairs.  She ran Fagins in Derby from 1988, was a sales rep for Phaidon and then ran academic bookshops for the University of Leicester until 2016.  She was on the Academic, Professional & Specialist Committee of the Booksellers Association. She now works at Five Leaves Bookshop in Nottingham, an independent radical bookshop.
