Lisa Tuttle is a novelist and short story writer who has published mainly in the fields of fantasy, horror and science fiction. She was a member of WiP when she lived in London (about 1982-1990), and freelanced for publications including Time Out, City Limits and The Bookseller. During that time she also worked briefly for the Women’s Press, taught evening classes at the City Lit, and researched and wrote two works of non-fiction: Encyclopedia of Feminism (Longman, 1986) and Heroines: Women Inspired by Women (Harrap, 1988). She wrote the pamphlet WiP: The First 10 Years.
